By the looks of your pictures it seems that Hunters a proactive community. I like the way that the community goals are outlined on the main page along with ideas on how to meet these goals. Specifically, I think the idae about having on call nurse to answer medical questions is invaluable. At times, not having the means myself for a doctor, I was able to call the consulting nurse in my hometown to see if my worries were warranted or if I just needed Tylenol. : ) I also like the goal of making flu shots easily accessible to seniors.
I am currently a student at WSU giving committing to service with horizons via the community blogspots. The class I am doing the service for is called "famalies in Poverty," I have since learned of many disheartening things about the face of poverty but it is refreshing to see a community such as Hunters dedicated to change. It is exciting to see that people can and often do make a difference!
